We've seen these fruit all over the city, but had no idea what they were. Some of them can easily reach 16-18 inches long with the girth as big around as a basketball. Recently, one of our Central Asian friends brought us one when she came to visit. It was game on from there on out. If you like melons and cantaloupe, you would LOVE these. Probably the best fruit that I have ever tasted anywhere in the world!
