I wish our water filter had something like an odometer on it so I could keep up with the replacements better!

…And this is why you want to change your filters on a regular basis over here!  I thought the water was starting to taste a little tangy :)  The other day when we flushed the toilets, the water swirling around was a dark orange color for a handful of the flushes!!! Nasty.
