We had some local friends invite us to go snow skiing the other day. It's been almost two years since I've skied, so I was really excited. I should have recognized that something had been lost in translation, because there aren't any mountains where we live and only a few big hills. When we got to the park we quickly realized we would be ice skating for the day, not snow skiing...oh well, it was still a lot of fun.
