She's at it again!

Sometimes I like the fact that we're poorer then Job's turkey and living in the 2nd most expensive city in the world… it gives Stephanie motivation to cook and bake homemade things.  Tonight's experiment, homemade tortilla shells.  Verdict- Phenomenal! You don't know how good a burrito can be until you taste these badboys!  

ps, might be the only time I like being poor.

A day of Snow Skiing...or should I say Ice Skating

We had some local friends invite us to go snow skiing the other day.  It's been almost two years since I've skied, so I was really excited.  I should have recognized that something had been lost in translation, because there aren't any mountains where we live and only a few big hills.  When we got to the park we quickly realized we would be ice skating for the day, not snow skiing...oh well, it was still a lot of fun.

It's 5:00am, and after another all-nighter I AM DONE!!! All I need to do is re-read through all the papers to make sure that I didn't slip in something crazy due to lack of sleep.  

After pushing this hard in the last month, maybe I can get through a Ph.D. 

If you ever hear that I am doing it, please shoot me.
